SHC TRI-VALLEY SIMULATION TRAINING CENTER — LIVERMORE, CA

Guzman Construction Group was selected to perform the renovation of Stanford Health Care’s Tri-Valley Simulation Training Center, located at 455 North Canyons Parkway, Suite C in Livermore, CA. The project involved the interior transformation of an 8,762-square-foot office suite—originally constructed in 1998—into a fully functioning clinical simulation learning center. The renovated space included three classrooms, one computer lab, five clinical simulation rooms, two dictation rooms, two conference rooms, a waiting area, a break room, and seven administrative offices.

As the General Contractor, Guzman Construction Group closely coordinated with Stanford Health Care’s Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) team to plan and schedule work to avoid disruption to neighboring tenants and daily operations. All noise- or vibration-generating work was performed after hours, and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Level I/II Type C measures were implemented throughout the project. Communication with Tri-Valley Supply Chain, which occupied the warehouse portion of the suite, was managed directly through PD&C. Guzman also oversaw contractor and subcontractor parking, adhered to all shutdown protocols, and delivered the project in line with Stanford’s standards for safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.
