SHC MRI TRAILER MAKE READY — SAN JOSE, CA

Guzman Construction Group successfully delivered a fast-track design-build project for Stanford Health Care to support installation of a GE Sigma Voyager Mobile MRI trailer at 2585 Samaritan Drive in San Jose. The $600K OSHPD 3 project included a 60' x 18' concrete pad, ADA-accessible pathways, utility trenching, and connections for power, data, water, and sewer, ensuring uninterrupted imaging services during MRI suite upgrades.

Despite appearing straightforward, the project required extensive coordination with the City of San Jose and PG&E. A key challenge involved connecting to the main electrical service, which was resolved quickly through collaborative efforts. The interior scope included routing new electrical conduit through the building and installing a new main service breaker. The project was completed in July 2024 and reflects a strong partnership between Guzman, SHC, and all project stakeholders.
