2550 Irving
2550 Irving is a seven-story, mixed-use affordable housing development currently under construction in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The project will deliver 90 affordable homes across 113,000 square feet, including 2,250 square feet of community-focused ground-floor space, a 4,620-square-foot parking garage with stackers, secure bicycle parking for 90 bikes, and a landscaped open-air courtyard.
Resident amenities include a community room, kitchen, on-site laundry, and lounge. Rooftop decks will feature urban agriculture and gathering space, offering both environmental and wellness benefits.
Designed by Pyatok and developed by the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, the building’s design highlights a refined podium structure with articulated massings, bay windows, and high-performance materials including sandstone-toned thin brick, fiber cement panels, and western red cedar timbers. Streetscape improvements will include new trees, public benches, and integrated public art.
The project will be fully powered by renewable energy through CleanPowerSF.
Guzman Construction Group is the sole general contractor and led all preconstruction efforts.
