1515 South Van Ness

1515 South Van Ness is a nine-story, 195,290-square-foot mixed-use affordable housing development, delivering 168 rental apartments. Designed by David Baker Architects in collaboration with Y.A. Studio, the project is being co-developed and operated by the Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC) and the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA).

The ground floor will feature a community room, co-working spaces, computer labs, a daycare facility, and a laundry room. Additional amenities include a rooftop terrace, a laundry room, and parking for 120 bicycles.

The demolition and abatement phase has been completed, and the project is now in the preconstruction phase. Guzman Construction Group, in partnership with Marinship Development Interest, serves as the general contracting team.
